We are currently seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial / industrial construction estimating and project management, with the ability to negotiate contracts and control costs effectively.

 

Duties:

- Identify and pursue bid opportunities

- Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates

- Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop pricing strategies

- Utilize software such as Bluebeam and BuildingConnected for precise estimating

- Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges

- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure budget adherence

- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing

 

Experience:

- Minimum of 10 years experience in commercial / industrial construction estimating and project management

- Proficiency in using estimating software like Bluebeam and BuildingConnected

- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable contract terms

- Knowledge of cost control methods and techniques

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
