In 1981, James F. Heaney started his construction company with a drive for perfection.  After a few years of finishing projects for others, he soon learned he could better meet his own quality standards by completing the structures himself.  The founding of Heaney General Contracting, Inc. (HGC) was a necessity in order to deliver the obsessive finish quality required by Jim.  The company soon grew in great demand and size. Delivered quality was needed throughout the commercial construction industry, where Jim and company were able to bring it to K-12, Higher Education, Retail, Medical and Industrial customers.
